Randy is the project manager for XC. His responsibilities include planning, scheduling and monitoring project activities, budget and account maintenance, public relations and other administrative tasks for the project.

Randy earned both his undergraduate degree and his MBA from the University of Rochester and is thrilled to have returned to the University as a member of the XC team. Randy also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).

Nancy Foster

Nancy Fried Foster is one of the co-Executive Directors for the XC Organization and the Director of Anthropological Research for River Campus Libraries. Nancy conducts user research to inform the development of XC software.

Nancy received a Diploma in Social Anthropology from the University of Oxford and a Ph.D. in Applied Anthropology from Columbia University. She has conducted research in Brazil, Papua New Guinea, an Oxford college, and many educational and community-based organizations in the US.

David Lindahl

David is one of the co-Executive Directors for the XC Organization. His responsibilities include design of the software architecture, management of software development activities and general oversight.

David earned his undergraduate degree in Computer Science from the University at Buffalo and an MS in Computer Science from RIT. He has extensive experience in library-related digital research and design projects. Areas of interest include user-centered design, work practice study, next generation catalogs, and open-source software.
